The Big Bedroom Reveal!!!

Camryn & Brooklyn finally outgrew their baby room and got a big girl room. First, we sold all their furniture, next, we got new carpet, then Nic put up some wood panels and a little shelf around their room, and finally....painting! yuck. I basically threw in the towel at that point and let Nic complete the renovation by building C & B a loft bed! It's AMAZING and he worked SO hard on it. He was inspired by one we saw online, then he drew up his own plans, changed the style a bit and went to work. Our garage makes quite the shop. He went at it for about a week and a half and I was just in awe the whole time. He still has to make shelves for the little tower and build a ladder, but besides that, the curtains and a few other little decorations, it's done! I really don't know how he does it. I'm proud of myself if I can put a nail in the wall to hang a picture but this guy's on a whole other level. The girls are in heaven with this new bedroom. They've asked me to publicly give a big shout out to their awesome Dad who loves them more than anything!

A Nana & Papa Week

We always have so much fun with Nana & Papa! The girls had a blast playing with Papa's iphone and can't wait for him to get one for each of them for their birthday in June!!! ;) Nana layed in bed with the twins each night and told the ongoing adventures of Princess Applejack & Prince Cheerio. We went out to eat a couple times- thanks Ashley for having a birthday while your parents were in town!!! And thanks Nana & Papa for giving us something to look forward to (I'm refering to your visit, not the dinners). Until next time!!! I've also got to add that last night we had the privilege of eating at The Mandarin with Nic's aunts, Sue & Patti. As luck would have it, they were celebrating Chinese New Year, complete with drums and a Chinese Dragon! It was awesome. Kendyl BEGGED to dress up in her Chinese outfit today to wish everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. Her name for the day was Ping :)

Valentines

The cousins (of course) had a Valentines party at Holly's on Friday. They all claimed it was the best day of their lives. We made heart shaped pizzas and sugar cookies. It was cute, chaotic and funny. Nic and I were also able to get out yesterday for Valentines Day thanks to Ashley. She watched the girls for a few hours while we went to the BYU basketball game (blowout). My Dad's a hardcore fan, but with he and my mom being in India for Op Smile right now, we got the tickets. After the game, we went back to Ashley's and ate dinner. She makes a mean chicken marsala. Thanks again Ash. Happy V-day to all the Lovers out there :)

Trains & the Circus

Last weekend we rode the train down to Discovery. I visit that place alot towards the expiration date on my pass :) The girls had lots of fun and looked really cute on the train.

We went to the circus this week. The girls had the BEST time together. They all stood up on their seats and danced at the end during the elephant show. Tammy got all the girls cotton candy. Dani especially loved hers and decided to wear part of it as a beard. Ella and Owen arrived after I'd already taken pictures. Whoops.
