New Mantle and Table!

It's hard to believe this fireplace was ever covered in a river rock arch, but it most certainly was.  I came home from picking up kids one evening and there stood Nic, standing in a pile of rubble and covered in dust.  This was a bug project for him, but of course, he had it done in no time.  He also ripped the stone off the dining room wall and we put up white ship lap and built a bar.  It's fantastic and makes me so happy.  I have always wanted a bar.  Just make the food and hand it straight over to the kids. I like easy. And last but not least.  Check out the table he built!  I'm so spoiled with this guy.  Seriously.  I feel like I married a Super-human.

April This & That

Pretty self explained!  Nic built a fairy garden house in like, 10 minutes.  It's so cool!  Spring is in the air and kids are playing outside, getting hurt and having fun!  We're back at the spring sports and crazy game lives again :)

Shetland Orioles

Oh Nixon Graham, you are the cutest little baseball player I've ever seen.  Nixon played hard and ran as fast as lightning this season.  We were pretty impressed with his batting and throwing form.  He hit the ball a few times, although it wasn't very easy with the pitching machine.  He had such a good time and can't wait for the season to start again.

Happy Birthday, Chicks!

I can't believe we've had these chikoos for a year!  I actually really like them.  They eat the garden, get attacked by dogs, get their food everywhere and poop on the deck.... But I still like them :). My kids gave them quite the party with scraps of kitchen food, new capes and neckware. Haha.  It was awesome.

Easter

Aristocats

Camryn & Brooklyn were cast as Amelia & Abigail, the twin geese, in Aristocats.  Dani was cast as Thomas O'Malley!  They've been practicing since September and they've had so much fun.  Tammy, Nic, Britten and I painted a wall (Tammy and Nic were the masterminds) and there was so much other work that went into it all.  Grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins all came to support these cute girls.  Cam & B impressed me with their duet and dance.  Didn't know they had it in them!  Love them all so
