There was a bunny in the silent auction at the Schenk reunion. My girls fell in love. Mom and Dad are suckers. We let the girls use their own money and buy bunnies. They are cute and Nic made them a great hutch outside by his work shed. Jet is a hotot and Thumper is a Holland Lop. Let's hope these kids can keep them alive and happy!

June This &That
Holly's baby shower. cousin late night in the fort. Swimming lessons that Nixon asked to take. He struggled the first day, but did great once he had his own pair of goggles to wear. Silly kid. Lots of yard work....and yard play! Bike rides and runs. Ice cream. Water Parks, and Ice cream with Papa. I'm thinking this Summer is getting off to an AWESOME start!

The Best
Nixon perfected his 2 wheeler this Spring and I don't think Calvin will be too far behind him. These boys are best friends and Cal does a great job at keeping up with the big boys. Growing up too fast.

Schenk Family Reunion
It was the big one this year up in Challis! Lots and lots of Schenks that I'd never met since this reunion stemmed back to Great Grandparents, Parley & Pat. We all stayed at Laurie and Derris's motel and had a room there. It was organized well and we had fun at the talent show, the dollar auction (where Calvy was so excited to hold up his dollars. He even won a couple things), rafting, the talent show (big heads again "Sunshine in my Pocket"), riding bikes, races at the park (poor Leslie and Stacy and their twinner fall), and good food :) It was a great couple of days.

Starting Summer with a Bang! What a fun Splash Pad in Layton! Hattie was loving my kids and my kids were loving her....and Nat and I were loving that they were keeping eachother entertained ;) Whatever it takes to wear them out. Worked for Calvin! I love that Dawg and I still hang out each month.

Happy Birthday Twin Town!
I don't know how it's possible that my twin baby girls were born 10 years ago. I remember so much of it so clearly, yet I can hardly remember what we had for dinner last night. These 2 are so so special. They are so mature, practical, grateful, kind, responsible, smart, nurturing. You couldn't pick a better duo to serve as your oldest children if you tried. I rely on them alot for help with the younger kid and help around the house. They make my job easier in a lot of ways.... Now if they'd just learn to keep their room clean!
Cam is still my "take charge" child who likes to get all the kids involved in a game or , imovie or dance party of some sort. She loves to make people laugh. She loves to bake, draw, play the violin, drive the golf cart, watch Studio C, sing, and play with little kids. If I need something done quickly, she's usually who I turn to. Love her dearly....
B is my pleaser. She's the first to jump on the piano when I saw it's time to practice. She's so kind to everyone and has lots of friends wherever she goes. She is patient and has a special little bond with Calvin. She likes to sew doll clothes (Grandma gave them a sewing machine for their birthday), and design outfits. She is a great student, fast reader and beautiful pianist. She is very forgetful which makes mom and dad crazy, but we love her lots :)
Of course, my favorite moment of their birthday was when the twin's exchanged gifts they'd bought eachother. Cam bought B a CTR ring she'd been wanting and it was adorable watching the reaction. The girls got to have a friends party this year and they only invited a few people. Anna, Elle, Morgan, Jordy, Jada & Macy and of course, Kendyl. They played in the backyard, had pizza and watched a movie in the hot tub. Nic took the boys to hit golf balls during the party :) They had so much fun and can't wait to spend their $25 Amazon gift cards from Anna.
