My soccer team

This awesome group has been playing soccer every Tuesday night at the church for a year and a half now.  We've had so much fun and everyone has improved SO much.  We had a BBQ with all of our families in our backyard.  It was such a blast. Moving to West bountiful has been so great.

Bees Game

When Dani is singing the National Anthem, we go to the Bees Game!  Nixon was so focused on the game, it was adorable :)  Calvin wanted to ride the train over and over, and I wanted to catch a ball!  Woohoo!

Dad's Retirement Party!

My Dad's surprise Retirement Party was the first weekend in June in our backyard!  Even Scott flew home for it.  We put SO much hard work into the yard and house to make sure everything was perfect.  It's been a work in progress since last year.  There were so many people there who have worked with  my dad and loved him for many years.  We enjoyed a FIESTA themed party!  Everything from a Taco Wagon, decorations and even a Mariachi band!  It probably should have been chinese themed ;)  Ed took his job of "parking cars in his backyard" VERY seriously and we all got a good laugh out of him.  No surprise there.  Although he'll still be in his office for about another month, it was a pretty emotional sight to see Dad, Karen and Heather saying their goodbyes.  They've been such a great team and Karen and Heather feel like family to us!  I think it will be hard for my dad to throw in the towel, but I'm SURE it get the hang of it quickly :)  Thanks Dad for all your hard work over the last 35 + years.  You have supported our family well and kept us looking our best :)  Now on to your new, exciting life of freedom! 

Tough Beener

This little cutie had one more otoplasty before Grandpa retired.  It was a little harder on her than last time, but she was beyond tough in Grandpa's office.  She earned a Build a Bear for her bravery :)

May This & Thats

Summer is in Full Swing!  The girls were asked to serve the food at Shari Coleman's wedding reception.  They took this job very seriously and maybe even ate their weight in treats.  But it was fun watching them haul food out of the kitchen and arrange it so nicely :)  Bike riding has become our number 1 activity now that Nixon has no trainers and Calvy has a big boy bike with trainers.  Ramps, rides to the golf course and around Jessi's Meadow.  It's been fun.

Boating Season!

It's finally here!  Our favorite family activity is going to Pineview and boating.  The water was SO high that there wasn't a whole lot of beach area and it was crowded.  We felt like people were walking on top of us. It was a lot of fun though.  Nixon was excited about skiing and Cal gave it a try :)  Here's to many more boating adventures this summer!  Don't worry, I'll consolidate them :0)
