No, they weren't paid. But I've never seen my kids work SO hard for such a long time! Nic cut down a TON of tree limbs so we had a lot of wood to haul to Ed's burn pit. Kendyl and Nixon were VERY serious about this task and wanted to prove their strength. I think Nixon had me check his muscle growth about 3 times. Haha.
