We love our neighbors. I just noticed that 3 of them are represented in this post. Chase, Steve's dirt yard, and Ed's freezer full of popsicles! We also love cousin sleepovers, tractors driving past our house while they repave the road, a potty trained Calvy!, and everything else!

Hong Kong in February! Although we've known for a while, it was still cool to have the ACTUAL call finally arrive! Tammy's family will be moving into their house and the St. George house will be rented out (so sad). Mom and Dad have been gone most of the summer and they'll probably continue to do a lot of traveling until the end of the year. Then they'll be packing like crazy. I kind of miss them! I guess they just needed to enjoy retirement. Can't believe they'll be gone for 18 months though. Time to find a new piano teacher :( Hopefully Nic and I will be able to visit them.

Nixter had his Kinder assessment a few days before school began. He was SOOO nervous...as you can see in the pics. He had both of his arms shoved inside his shirt. Ha! Such a bashful little kid. He did a good job and got some stickers. His favorite part though, was seeing Dreya in the hall when he was finished. Oh man, these 2 just love eachother so much. Melts my heart. He did so well on his first day....besides the waking up part. He went right into his classroom with Boston and Josie and they took their seats and started to color. I could have stared at him all day. He will do so great and be such a fantastic student. Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Enquist are his teachers. Love him like crazy.

School seems to start earlier every year! August 17th was their first day of 5th grade with Mrs. Ryan and 2nd grade with Mrs. Stephenson. They were very excited. It was sad for me to drop them off at different schools, but the twins are stoked about being at the north campus. Here's to another wonderful Legacy Year!

We seriously went to the lake every weekend in August. It's our favorite thing to do! We went with the Clarks, the Bellistons, and one time I just took the kids and the kayak and met up with all the neighbors. So fun. The girls have gotten really good at wakeboarding and Nixon could ski all day. Cal fell in while he was skiing a few weeks ago and now he's terrified to try again. Dang it! I love watching the kids kayak. Kendyl uses it as a paddleboard and Nixon could row all day. He loves taking Cal on rides.
