Soccer Family

We rented out the Indoor Soccer field at Gardner Village.  The whole family played soccer and a little flag football.  It was so much fun!  The kids really got into it :)  I didn't stand a chance against those Clark boys.  Dang them ;)  Afterward, we walked around Gardner Village.  Such a fun place to shop during the holidays.

November this and that

The day he wanted to do his own hair.....

Kendyl wanted to take Tammy's snake, Pliskin, to school again for Pet day.  She is a unique kid.

First Snow

It snowed.....BIG TIME!  We got over 6".  It was GOOD snowman making snow :)  The boys went outside and made forts and snowmen.  Perhaps the best day of their lives ;)

Food Pantry

We signed up to work at the food pantry with our family.  They spend a little while explaining who the food was for, then let us form an assembly line to make food packs for children who don't have food at home.  They get to take a pack home with them from school on Fridays to feed them for the weekend.  Sure makes you feel grateful for what we have.

BYU Basketball Game

I wish I could have seen this is person.  Nic took the boys to a BYU basketball game.  They love to talk about BYU and I think they've concluded that they're big time fans ;)  Meanwhile, the girls and I saw Moana (for the 2nd time) with Grandma and Tammy's fam.

Thanksgiving 2016

We celebrated Thanksgiving at Ashley's house this year.  We all brought food and it was delicious.  We met at the movie theater at noon and saw, "Moana".  We loved it!  Instant favorite :)  It was fun to have Tanner, Yo, Quincie and Celina join us.  We have so much to be grateful for.  I get mad and stress over such dumb little things.  I need to be better at taking a step back and realizing how good I actually have it,  Especially with my kids.  I need to be more grateful for the amazing people that they are, and not upset about the things they aren't.  Really though, kids don't get much better than them.  Happy Thanksgiving

Surprise Party for Rachel!

My heart couldn't have been more full as it was on this day.  Camryn & Brooklyn planned and carried out a surprise birthday party for Rachel Ballard, a cute girl in their primary class with cerebral palsy.  Camryn made the most darling Minnie Mouse invitations and they made a beautiful cake.  Every single girl from their primary class came.  Rachel was so excited when she came through the door and all the girls jumped out.  She said, "Thank you so much!"  We enjoyed playing pin the ears on the Minnie, Disney name that tune, painting nails, and eating cake.  We feel so blessed to have this special little girl live so close to us.  She is the best.

The crazy shenanigans happened after Rachel left.

Sleeping Beauty

These cute girls auditioned for "Sleeping Beauty" clear back in May.  Only about 1/4 of all the kids who auditioned got into the play so the girls were pretty grateful.  They got the parts of Maleficent's goons.  Ha!  It was perfect for them :)  Practice was pretty intense starting at the end of August.  6 hours of practice each week, and the final few weeks was 4 1/2 hours every night.  The play was the week before Thanksgiving break.  7 performances!  I got to see 4 of them :)  I sold concessions a couple nights.  The play was INCREDIBLE!  Some of those kids are just out of this world.  Jules is an amazing director.  I'm so incredibly grateful for Camryn and Brooklyn.  They worked hard on this play and never complained once.  They loved every minute of it.  They are fun kids.  Love them to pieces.
