St. George for Christmas Break

We spent the week after Christmas in St. George.  It was so nice and relaxing.  Tammy's family came down a couple days after us.  This was our last trip down until Mom and Dad get back from their mission!!  They're renting it out :(

CHRISTMAS

Merry Chistmas!  Santa delivered.  The twins got an ipad Mini, Kendyl got a Wellie Wisher doll named Kendall, Nixon and Calvin got Hotwheels AI, I got 2 coats and Sperry boots, Nic got a speaker and some tools.  It was of course, the most fun to see the kids give gifts to eachother.  I think that's their favorite part too.  We had so much fun opening presents, then going to church and having our Christmas program, then coming home and having a nice relaxing day.  How perfect to have Christmas on a Sunday.  And how about these Elf Jammies!?  Nic bought them for all of us.

Clark Christmas Party!

We had our party on Christmas Eve Eve so Tanner and Yo could be here from Arizona.  We had a "dress up balloons like Christmas characters, blown them up, attach them to a straw that's attached to a giant string system in the backyard and watch them fly through the course" activity.  It started off with Nic's idea of doing a scavenger hunt, which I thought was a great idea.  But you know Nic, he had to take it a step further so it was different and cooler than the original.  Everyone loved it :)  We exchanged lots of gifts, ate lots of food, went hot tubbing, let the kids ICE SKATE on the rink Nic's been working on (wasn't quite cold enough for the ice to completely set this week), broke a pinata and played with toys. Love these parties :)

Happy Birthday Calvin!

He's 3!  I'm actually kind of sad about it.  I have no more babies :(  Calvin is the cutest little 2 year old in the world and I just want him to stay like this forever.  His perfect speech, complete sentences, clear understanding and response to others, hilarious personality, ALWAYS happy demeanor, goog manners, love and admiration for his siblings (especially Nixon...and Vivi of course), and everything else about him have COMPLETELY won us over.  He's mister popular at our house.  For his birthday, he asked to ride the train.  We rode the Front Runner from WX to Provo where we were able to go to the BYU basketball game (the boys LOVE BYU), with my parents.  They helped us out with the transportation part since we rode the train out there and wanted to drive home.  The girls made Cal a cute cake with gummy bears all over it.  He got the CUTEST Thomas Train toy and Ed and Paula spoiled him with little toys and a SPIDERMAN tent!  He's over the moon about it all.  We love you Calvin and couldn't feel more grateful about having you in our family.  The perfect caboose.
