Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving was at Mom & Dad Sellers house this year. We actually spent Thursday decorating our house, due to scheduling conflicts with my siblings' inlaws, and had our Turkey day on Friday. Even Scott's family drove from Colorado for a few days. It was fun & crazy to have all the kids together. Right now there are 10.5 of them. Anyway, we ate lots of food, took the kiddos swimming, ate more food, played the Thanksgiving game and basked in the chaos. The first 2 pictures are the ACTUAL Thanksgiving Day, when we were decorating. Notice picture #2- there is a Nativity burried behind the endless rows of ponies. Apparantly, the ponies were excited to have other animals to play with.

Family Wii & Gingerbread Girls

We've been busy lately. Painting the parent's cabin, lots of Young Women's stuff (ya, I've been bumped from Secretary to 1st counselor), doctor visits- no, not me, shopping and all the other little things that keep us busy. Point is, none of that stuff is picture worthy. So here are pictures of the little fun things we've been doing between all the busy things.

Big Mario Kart party...nope, only Daddy's works.

She likes LOTS of frosting on those little ladies.

Slightly more particular in her frosting.

We also got to go to the Rec Center and swim inside today with Laney & Kelli. The girls loved it and can't wait to do it again. Sorry no pictures. I'm sure in the coming weeks, I'll be on picture overload with everything we've got planned. Stress.

FYE

Things have been busy...but not too exciting. Here are some funny videos we've taken in the last few weeks.
Here's mean Daddy, ruining the birthday party. Sidenote- C&B have a ton of ponies and Brooklyn has succesfully given each of them a name (if it didn't already come with one). We all know their names now and always address them correctly :)

Here's my baby learning to walk. She can only take a couple steps so far...she'd much rather crawl. She always has a fan club close by.
Kendyl LOVES dogs. She perks right up & barks whenever she sees or hears one. She also growls for bear and makes monkey sounds...pretty dang cute. Check out Moosey-if you'll recall, this tank was smaller than the twinners a few months ago (See March :)).

The Nana Visits!

It's always a treat to have The Nana (Nic's mom)come visit from Ohio. The girls were definitely as hyper and crazy as ever. We got to spend the weekend up in Kamas at Ryan's cabin. Ashley & Ryan had Moose with them and the girls, especially Kendyl, were pumped about it. Kendyl would bark and try to pet him or grab his toys every time he was around. There was also PLENTY of singing (Camryn), and dancing (Brooklyn). We were SERIOUSLY entertained!

Frenectomy

Yesterday was Baby Kendyl's surgery! She was tongue tied (when the string that holds your tongue down is attached clear up to the tip). She was pumped before the surgery, but felt pretty awful afterward. It was actually a really quick surgery, but she was hurting and crying for a couple hours afterwards...It was sad. PLUS, it didn't help that after I FINALLY got her to sleep for her nap, the nearby refinery exploded and shook the whole house! It scared the you-know-what out of me and I RAN upstairs to rescue Kendyl. I was sure the roof had collapsed. After getting the 3 girls outside, we saw other neighbors looking over at the smoke and flames coming from the refinery. It was freaky and made big news. Thankfully, Kendyl went back down ok :) Dang refinery. I've also included a before picture of Kendyl sticking out her tongue. You can see how the tip makes a 'V' shape...that's a dead give away for a tongue-tied kiddo.

Kendyl's Tubby Game

My baby is getting surgery on her tongue tomorrow. The poor doll is sick as a dog, coughing and runny nose...but the doctor still wants to do it! I'll post pictures of her in her hospital gown tomorrow! I took this video last night...LOVE IT! Camryn is ALWAYS by her side (often times torturing), but she loves her to death. She always tells me, "Kendyl is my best friend in the whole world.". Funny she would say that when she spends 99% of her time playing ponies and princesses with Brooklyn.

The CUTEST Halloween Pictures!

Our next door neighbors take pictures of the kids every year for Halloween. They built a set outside in front of their garage. Don't they look great! Props to the Mowers! Their website is http://kdphotodesign.com/ . One of my biggest battles is getting all 3 kids smiling at the same time. It's 99% impossible. It doesn't help that the twins get shy when they're put on the spot in front of people they aren't totally comfortable with. I'm out there shaking my booty, jumping around like a frog, making farting noises and making a complete idiot out of myself and I get NOTHIN! Well, I guess I got something...but it wasn't easy! (This is Steff by the way- sorry I posted under Nic's account.)
