SKYDIVING!

I went skydiving yesterday!!! It was SUCH a rush and I'm ready to do it again :) I was lucky enough to go with Ashley, Kate and Sean. Sean goes into the MTC today, so he needed to leave with a BANG. He figured that if he died, he wasn't supposed to go on a mission....or skydiving. Luckily, my "dive master" let me take my GoPro, which I held out in front of me the whole time. There are a few more pictures that I'll post later when I retrieve them from Papa, but for now, enjoy this SWEET video :) (youtube video "Skydiving")

Schenk Reunion

Yep, tis the season for Family Reunions!! We had so much fun at the Schenk Reunion. It was held in Bancroft Idaho, just down the street from Grandma and Grandpa's house. Everyone camped, played Volleyball, ate and sat around the campfire in their neighbors' backyard. It's no ordinary backyard, it's a pumped up campground :) Nic and the girls camped in a tent and Nixon and I slept at Grandma/pa's house. It was a little cold during the night, but they survived. It was amazing to have Britten there and to see how well he's doing. He loved our kids and wanted to hold and talk to each one of them. The girls were excited to meet the guy they've been praying for since March.
The reunion festivities included: *Swimming at the pool at Lava, and don't you worry, I jumped off the 33 foot platform! It was scary, but so fun. The girls had a blast going down the waterslides by themselves over and over and over again.
*4-wheeling. Kendyl and Nic went on a loooong ride while we were at the pool. They had a lot of fun and Kendyl even fell asleep at the end. When they got back, Nic just laid her on a blanket under a tree. Cute.
*Minute to Win it. Always a blast. Nic and I competed against eachother in the "Shimmy the Ping Pong Balls out of a kleenex box tied onto your booty" challenge. Smoked him ;)

*Boating at Alexander Reservoir. Lots of tubing, jet skiing, wakeboarding, and kids skiing. Kendyl and Brooklyn skiid behind the boat this time. We started them from the dock. They LOVED it!

*We stayed up WAY too late every night roasting marshmallows, talking, playing night games, playing card games (Mow anyone!?), and more.
*My girls LOVE their Schenk cousins! They're actually Nic's cousins, but they're the same age as the twins. It was so fun to have all those little girls together to play. Kendyl also loved having Averi, and lots of 2nd cousins her exact age to play with. Lots of little girlies. Here are some pictures of their favorite dangerous toy.

Thanks Schenk family for such a FABULOUS weekend! We love you tons!

Brave

Daddy took the girls to the night time showing of Brave. They thought it was a little scary, but they loved it. I hope these girls always remember these special times with their dad. They're priceless.

4th of July

Eaglewood fireworks, Kaysville Parade and Chamberlain BBQ....nothing says 4th of July like those 3 events....(unless we happen to be in Idaho, then it's usually the 5K, parade, carnival, and lunch at Sue's). We had a good time this year with our little family. It was SOOOO hot, but there was MUCH candy to be collected at the parade :) The fireworks were lots of fun and the kids loved having glow sticks this year. The BBQ was just classic with random people the Chamberlains have run across in life :) It was sad not to have Doug there this year . He passed away in October after a long battle with cancer. My parents came though and of course, Holly (who just so happened to turn 35 that day!) and her fam were there....so we got to spend a little time with my family. That night, we let the kids do sparklers in the driveway, then Nic and I watched some fireworks together in the backyard. Perfect day. God Bless the USA!!!!

Sellers Reunion

Seriously!!!??? How do I not have pictures of this event!!! Luckily, Rolayne took a couple. My cousin, Brandon, got married at the end of June and most of the Sellers were here for it! The wedding was at the Salt Lake Temple and the reception was in my parents' backyard. The next day, we all got together for dinner at a park and played games. And don't worry, someone's backyard caught on fire a block away and created quite the stir. It was an IMPRESSIVE fire and somehow it was put out before burning the house....but after burning a car and a shed. After the park, we swam at my parents' house. It was a lot of fun to get together with everybody. It doesn't happen very often and it's always crazy to see how grown up everybody is. Until next time Sellers!!

Roomie Reunion

I am SOOO lucky to have had the best girls ever as college roommates. These are the beautiful ladies from my 2nd year at BYU-I. Nat, Katie, Sara & Melissa. We're only missing Rae, who lives in Oregon. We met at City Creek and had breakfast at Kneaders. Our lives have changed so much but it was like no time has passed. Wish I could see these ladies more often!!

Swimmin

The girls completed their 2 week swimming lessons course last week. They've gotten so much better at swimming. I can finally relax a little and just let them swim and play when we go to the pool. Well since their lessons ended at the same time the outdoor pool opened, we just mosied on over and played at the pool each day! We had a ton of fun. We ate lunch there, had races in the grass, climbed the wall inside, and all that other fun stuff you do at the pool :)
